Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come on a two-day visit to Punjab to boost the morale of BJP candidates ahead of the voting on June 1, 2024. As per BJP State General Secretary Rakesh Rathour, PM Modi will address public rallies on Thursday and Friday. PM Modi will address a public rally in the second half of the day on May 23 in Patiala followed by another rally the next day in Gurdaspur on May 24. Prime Minister Modi will also address a public rally in Jalandhar on May 24 in the second half on Friday.
Notably, BJP State President Sunil Jakhar has also invited UP CM Yogi Adityanth in Punjab to address the rallies. On Friday, it was revealed that BJP State Unit Chief Sunil Jakhar has written a letter to UP CM and has requested him to visit the state for Lok Sabha Elections 2024 campaign in Punjab. Jakhar in his letter stated that the people of Punjab highly regard his work done in the state of Uttar Pradesh, hence his visit to Punjab will boost the morale of BJP candidates in Punjab.
