War of words intensifies as PM Modi accuses Congress for defaming Hindus

Launching the alliance of BJP and Shiv Sena for Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a rally in Wardha accused the Congress for maligning the image of “Peace-loving Hindus” as terrorists.

Narendra Modi bashed the Congress for coining the term “Hindu-terror” and asked to give an instance for any such activity by a Hindu.

Coining the participation of Rahul Gandhi from Wayanad as an act of scare PM Modi added that “Leaders of that party are now scared of contesting from constituencies dominated by majority (Hindu) population."

He accused the congress and the NCP of dishonoring the credibility and valor of the Indian Soldiers by asking for proofs of Balakot Airstrikes. “These parties use language that was suitable to be used in Pakistan”, he added.

Modi also targeted the NCP chief Sharad Pawar who finally decided not to contest lok sabha election after deciding to do so first.

He also congratulated ISRO on the successful launch of EMISAT satellite on board polar rocket PSLV-C45 from Sriharikota.
