A minor accused in a conspiracy to fire rockets at the Punjab Police Intelligence Headquarters in Sector-77 SAS Nagar of the Mohali district has been arrested. The accused was arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell in Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh.
The matter of the accused being helpful to the terrorists has come to the fore. The authorities are currently questioning the suspect and looking into his connections with terrorists.
Around 8.45 p.m. on May 9, a rocket launcher was used to attack the Punjab Police Intelligence Headquarters. There was a stir in the headquarters when there was a loud explosion. This resulted in the headquarters building's windows being damaged, but fortunately, no one was hurt.

Senior officials of the local police station and Punjab Police Department, including the PCR police, took stock of the incident. After this, the Punjab Police also registered a case.
A car was seen passing by the headquarters when the police reviewed the footage from the nearby CCTV cameras after the incident. Some young people had launched rockets at the headquarters from the same car.
