The body of a young man was found under suspicious conditions in the bathroom of a McDonald's restaurant in Zirakpur, Mohali. The McDonald's staff immediately informed the police control room. Zirakpur police station reached the spot along with the forensic team. The police have started an investigation into the case.
The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Arshdeep Singh. The police have taken his body into custody and kept it in the government hospital of Derabassi. The staff is currently being investigated.
Upon inspection of the CCTV installed in McDonald's, the police came to know that the deceased had come in a car and the name of the 26-year-old youth is Arshdeep Singh, who is a resident of Derabassi. Police investigation also revealed that there were no marks of any kind of injury on the body.
Zirakpur SHO Jaskawal Singh said that there was no mark of any kind on the body of the deceased youth and it seems that the young man died of a heart attack. The police have kept the body of the deceased in the hospital at Derabassi and his family members have also been informed. After postmortem, the actual cause of death and how he died will be known.
