Balkaur Singh, father of slain singer Sidhu Moosewala has ended the protest outside Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Moosewala’s parents decided to end the dharna after meeting with Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal who assured to set up their meeting with CM Mann after 20th March 2023.
Balkaur Singh while meeting Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal stated that AAP is not taking any action against the people who killed their son. He further added that the murderers of Sidhu Moosewala are still killing people even after being inside the jail and jail authorities are not doing anything.
For the unversed, Balkaur Singh along with his wife sat on dharna outside Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday morning demanding justice for their son. While interacting with media, Balkaur Singh stated that it’s been almost 10 months that he has gone to every police station and administrative office son his son’s justice but nothing happened. He further added that many officials are trying to suppress that case due to which he was forced to sit on dharna. He also said that the ones who took responsibility of killing his son are roaming freely in abroad.
Recently, Sidhu Moosewala’s father announced his son’s death anniversary to be organized on 19th March 2023 at Navi Anaj Mandi, Mansa. Moosewala’s father requested fans not to bring any banners or posters of his son and maintain peace during the ceremony. Balkaur Singh further added that he will take round of whole village in Sidhu Moosewala’s favorite Thar.
