In the latest development, Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moosewala’s parents have sat on dharna outside the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Moosewala’s parents announced dharna on Tuesday morning in order to demand justice for their son who was shot dead by gangsters on 29th May 2022.
While interacting with media, Balkaur Singh stated that it’s been almost 10 months that he has gone to every police station and administrative office son his son’s justice but nothing happened. He further added that many officials are trying to suppress that case due to which he was forced to sit on dharna. He also said that the ones who took responsibility of killing his son are roaming freely in abroad.
Talking about the protest, Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh said that till the time sessions will take place in Vidhan Sabha, he will continue his protest. He also added that police officials are now taking no interest to find killers of his son. Balkaur Singh also said he got threat to be killed by April 25, 2023 by a minor boy. In the end, Balkaur Singh praised Congress party by saying that his son was safe during their rule but as soon as AAP came to power, he got killed.
Recently, Sidhu Moosewala’s father announced his son’s death anniversary to be organized on 19th March 2023 at Navi Anaj Mandi, Mansa. Moosewala’s father requested fans not to bring any banners or posters of his son and maintain peace during the ceremony. Balkaur Singh further added that he will take round of whole village in Sidhu Moosewala’s favorite Thar.
Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead on 29th May 2022 in Mansa district. Later Goldy Brar from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang took responsibility of the murder and stated that to avenge death of his brother, singer was killed.
