Lok Sabha Member and former Union Minister Manish Tewari in the presence of District Planning Committee Chairman Satveer Singh Palli Jhikki, and Large Scale Industrial Development Board Chairman Pawan Dewan inaugurated various development projects worth Rs 52 lakhs in Banga city. These included the newly constructed Ravidas Road, Banga Jidowal Road and Akash Hospital Road.

Apart from this, he also gave a good start to the construction work of the magnificent park to be constructed by the Municipal Council Banga. On this occasion he also held a meeting with the leaders and workers of Banga area.

He said that the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh is carrying out development works in the cities and villages of the state and despite the Corona epidemic no stagnation was allowed in them.

He said that all the major roads of the state have been rehabilitated and the link roads were being changed at the same time. He said that no road would be left without renovation or special repair. He said that Punjab government is committed to uplift the living standards of the people and provide them all the basic amenities.

Satveer Singh Palli Jhikki, Chairman, District Planning Committee thanked Tewari for his generous grants for the overall development of Banga constituency.

On this occasion the Chairman of the Marketing Committee Darvjit Singh, Dr. Harpreet Singh, Contractor Rajinder Singh, Dr. Bakhshish Singh, E.O Street Municipal Council Banga Rajiv Oberoi, City President Manjinder Bobby, Block President Harjinder Singh Bharoli, Ravinder Billa, Rajinder Sharma and other personalities were present.
