Days after Mumbai Police received a series of messages from a Pakistani number threatening to carry out an attack like 26/11, the city again landed into trouble.
Famous five-star, The Lalit Hotel of Mumbai received a threat call on Tuesday morning demanding a ransom of Rs. 5 crores.
Police revealed that the unidentified called who called for ransom said that bombs have been placed in the hotel in four places and to defuse them he asked for ransom.
The caller also stated that if the hotel refuses to pay the ransom, they will blow up the hotel which will cost the lives of many innocent people.
After this, the Mumbai Police searched for the bombs in the hotel but not even a single one was found.

Mumbai Police has called it a ‘hoax bomb threat’ post the whole security check of the hotel.
A case has been registered by Sahar Police against the unidentified caller under section 336, 507 of the India Penal Code.
The incident is followed after a boat containing AK-47 rifles was discovered in Raigarh, Maharashtra. All these incidents have led to the setting up of a security alert throughout the Maharashtra state.
