Murder Mubarak is a murder mystery that features actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, etc. While Pankaj Tripathi plays ACP Bhavani Singh, all other major actors are suspects in a murder case that took place in the Royal Delhi Club. Now, the question arises whether Murder Mubarak is a true story or Murder Mubarak is based on a novel. Below is everything you need to know-
Is Murder Mubarak a true story?
The answer is no. Netflix's Murder Mubarak is an adaptation of a murder-mystery novel titled 'Club You to Death' penned by Anuja Chauhan. Since Murder Mubarak is adapted from Club You to Death, Anuja Chauhan's book is a murder mystery set in Delhi's posh area and Delhi Turf Club ( DTC ). In that DTC club, they plan to do the Presidential election. On that day of the election, the Zumba class trainer Leo was murdered mysteriously. And, there ACP Bhavani Singh enters the situation and probes the elites of Delhi.
Murder Mubarak's official synopsis says, "A murder has happened at the Royal Delhi Club, and ACP Bhavani Singh has the impossible task of finding the killer, when every member is a suspect!"
On the other hand, Club You to Death's official synopsis says, "When a hunky personal trainer is found asphyxiated to death under an overloaded barbell at the posh Delhi Turf Club, on the eve of the club elections, it is first thought to be a freak accident. But soon, it becomes clear that one of the members of the DTC - all pickled-in-privilege Dilliwallahs - is a cold-blooded killer."
Since Murder Mubarak is yet to be released, True Scoop News has decided not to divulge any further information on Club You To Death's content as it may give away some spoilers.
