Naagin star Sayantani Ghosh ties knot with Anugrah Tiwari, wears grandmother’s saree; See PICS

In a modest and intimate wedding in Kolkata, actor Sayantani Ghosh married Anugrah Tiwari. On Instagram, she posted a couple photos of herself wearing a crimson Banarasi saree. Anugrah, her husband, was dressed in a dhoti and an embroidered kurta.

She captioned her post, “And just like that I went from being a Miss to a Mrs.”

"I felt something change inside the moment I put on my shankha and pola," she told a leading daily. I've worn shankha-pola previously to play various characters on television. This time, though, it was for real! In a laal Benarasi, shankha-pola, chandan on the forehead, and sindoor, I think a Bengali bride always looks gorgeous." Sayantani previously stated that she wore her grandmother's saree for her engagement and received the rest of the presents from her parents. She also claimed that the ring ceremony was difficult for him since he mourned his father, who died a few years ago. The pair will hold a celebration in Anugrah's hometown of Jaipur.

For the event, Sayantani Ghosh donned a red saree with a golden blouse, while Anugrah Tiwari wore a matching golden jacket over his red kurta. The couple can be seen flashing off their engagement rings in one photo and exchanging a fist bump to the camera in another. In addition, the actor stood alone for two photos with floral arrangements in the backdrop. Sayantani and Anugrah have been together for eight years, according to reports.
