She wrote on her social media, "Hey everyone, I will no longer be working together with Sascha. I thank him for his work and wish him all the best in the future."

The Australian Open title was claimed by the Japanese, which helped her to become the first Asian player to be world's number one by putting Simona Halep at the end of the 48-week reign in the WTA rankings.

Bajin tweeted in reply, "Thank you Naomi. I wish you nothing but the best as well. What a ride that was. Thank you for letting me be part of this."

The German coach, former partner of Serena Williams, Sloane Stephens and Caroline Wozniacki, started coaching Osaka in 2018.
