India and Australia locked horns one last time for the test series finale on Friday. The ongoing test series between India and Australia has literally tested the bench strength of the Indian Cricket Team. Ever since Virat Kohli left the series after the first test, team India started facing injury woos. More than 7 players of the Indian cricket team are resting in the hotel due to injuries while some of them have already returned to India.
However, like there is a saying the show must go on, India still opted to play the series even though the players lack experience. However, it is one of those times when the almighty toss difficulties after difficulties in your way. India faced yet another blow after young speedster Navdeep Saini left the field of the Gabba due to a groin injury. Saini was taken for a scan after he complained of pain in his groin on the opening day of the fourth test.
BCCI released an official statement and said, "Navdeep Saini has complained of pain in his groin. He is currently being monitored by the BCCI medical team. Navdeep Saini has now gone for scans."
Talking about the day's play, Marnus Labuschagne scored his first ton of the series. However, he was given multiple chances by Indian fielders still the ace batsman scored big. He became the scalp of debutant T Natarajan.
