Amid a war of words between former Punjab Cheif Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and Deputy CM Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Navjot Singh Sindu’s wife, Navjot Kaur has accused Captain Amarinder of granting job postings only with the consent of his close friend Aroosa Alam.
The Congress leader, Navjot Kaur on Saturday claimed, 'the Pakistani journalist Aroosa Alam was so close to Amarinder Singh that the posting of SHOs and SPs were done with her son Roshan's
consent.’
Kaur said that not a single promotion in the Punjab police department happened without a "gift or payment" to Aroosa Alam.
"Aroosa Alam was the DGP of Punjab Police during Captain Sarkar," she stated.

"Not a single posting took place without Aroosa being paid or getting a gift. Captain should also go to Pakistan and enjoy his time there with her, as she has taken all of the money
with her. We were never taken seriously because I never let my husband (Navjot Singh Sidhu) get near to Aroosa," Navjot stated.
Navjot Kaur Sidhu, when asked about Amarinder Singh's plans to start a new political party, stated that at his age, 'Captain sahab' should spend his time praying and having fun
with Aroosa Alam.
"There was discrimination under Captain Raj, but now there will be large-scale development work, and Navjot Singh Sidhu will run for the eastern constituency of Amritsar in 2022," she added.
