Punjab
Congress Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu calls a meeting on March 10 at 5 pm with the
newly-elected MLAs. It is fear or what?
There are discussions about hung assembly in Punjab as
the result of the Assembly elections are coming tomorrow. The Congress chief
Navjot Singh Sidhu calls a meeting with the New MLAs. There is a possibility
that the meeting is about the making of the government.
As of the exit polls results, AAP can be seen sweeping
the other parties in Punjab. But if there is any short in the mark of 59 seats,
there is fear that the MLAs of other parties can be approached by them. To make
sure that the MLAs of Congress do not go anywhere this meeting can be seen as an
important step.
He also held a meeting with the All India Congress
Committee (AICC) observer for the state, Ajay Maken and Punjab affairs
in-charge Harish Choudhary in Chandigarh.
The party is also trying to get in touch with its former
leaders that contested as independent candidates in the assembly elections.
Navjot Singh Sidhu shared the information regarding the
meeting on his Twitter account. He wrote, “It has been decided that the First
Congress Legislative Party meeting will be held on 10th March at PPCC office
(Congress Bhawan, Sector 15) at 5 PM. All newly elected
@INCPunjab
