Teams of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) visited the residences of Rhea Chakraborty and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's manager Samuel Miranda, on Friday. The raids were conducted a day after the Mumbai court sent alleged drug peddler Zaid Vilatra to seven-day custody of the NCB.
Now the NCB team has detained Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik Chakraborty. Earlier the agency detained Samuel Miranda from his residence. As per reports, both of them have been taken to the NCB office Mumbai where they will be jointly interrogated.
The NCB has arrested a total of 5 drug peddlers, one of them has a direct connection with Sushant's house manager Samuel Miranda and Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik Chakraborty. The NCB has various proofs that Showik and Miranda were involved in drug dealing. The interrogation of them might allow the NCB to arrest the prime accused Rhea Chakraborty in the nexus of Bollywood-drugs cartel.
