Following the hours-long heated arguments in the Esplanade court, NCB has been given the authority to keep Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda in custody till September 9.
NCB on Friday night had detained both the accused for their alleged involvement in the drugs case related to Sushant Singh Rajput's death.
The Court has also sent Kaizen Ibrahim to 14-day judicial custody.
Reportedly, NCB has sought 7-day custody as some people connected with the case are being summoned and they need some time for confrontation purposes.

However, Showik's lawyer, Satish Maneshinde has opposed the NCB remand as no seizures have been made during the raids. Thus, going by the NDPS act, remand for a week is not possible.
The court after going through the case papers, the recoveries being made, the drug cartels, and other things has announced its decision.
