In her autobiography, "Sach Kahun Toh," senior actress Neena Gupta made some surprising revelations about her life path.
She disclosed in one of her unpleasant recollections in the book that she was molested as a child by a doctor and a tailor, but she didn't inform her mother because she was afraid of being blamed. "The doctor started with checking my eye and then moved down to check out other places that were unconnected with my eye," Neena wrote, recalling an occasion when she went to an optician and was ordered to sit outside in the waiting room while she got herself checked. While it was happening, I was frightened and ashamed. When no one was watching, I sat in a corner of the house and cried”.

"However, I was afraid to inform my mother about this since I was afraid she would blame me." That I had most likely provoked him with whatever I had said or done. This occurred to me several times in the doctor's office," she said.

The actress also detailed a similar experience she had with a tailor who tried to be "very handsy" with her while taking her body measurements. Despite the negative experience, she continued to visit because "I felt like I had no option," she added. If I told my mother I didn't want to visit them, she'd ask why, and I would have to tell her.”
The actress went on to say that she subsequently found that numerous girls had to deal with similar situations, and that no one dared to inform their parents since it would "take away the little freedom we had." Or, even worse, that we would be held responsible for our own actions."
Apart from that, Neena has spoken openly about a number of significant events in her life, including falling in love with cricketer Sir Vivian Richards, being a single mother, raising Masaba on her own, and untold stories from her acting career.
