NEET 2021: Application forms to release today, Here’s how to apply

The wait for medical exam aspirants is over as the National Testing Agency (NTA) is scheduled to release application forms for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 today. The links on the official site neet.nta.nic.in and ntaneet.nic.in has been activated. Both official websites display the forms to be available soon.

Once the application forms are out, medical aspirants willing to study medicine in MBBS, BDS, BUMS, BAMS, BSMS and BHMS courses can apply for NEET 2021 by visiting the official websites. The entrance exam for admission in the undergraduate course is scheduled to be held on August 1.

As the application forms are released, the official information brochure will also be released by National Testing Agency (NTA). The brochure comprises information on eligibility criteria, exam format, etc.

To fill out the application forms for NEET 2021, the candidate should be needing scanned copies of passport-size photographs, a scanned image of the left-hand thumb impression of the candidate and the scanned copy of the Class 10th certificate to be uploaded on the website while filling the application form.

Eligibility Criteria

To take the entrance exam the aspirant's age should be minimum 17 years at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before December 31, 2021. The upper age limit is 25 years. The reserved categories are given a relaxation of five years.

The NEET aspirant must have passed Class 12 with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology as four main subjects. Also, candidates whose 12th class results remain awaited can apply for the exam.

Mode

The NEET 2021 application forms can be filled out only via online mode. The payment could be done via e-payment methods like net banking, e-wallets and Debit/Credit card.
