It is expected that NEET 2021 exam would be conducted on August 1, 2021, only 45 days are left and the application forms are not yet out. This is because candidates are expecting that the NEET 2021 might get postponed. Usually, application forms are out nearly 60 days before.
Students, teachers and many politicians are requesting for cancellation of the NEET 2021 exam. Recently, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, MK Stalin joined hands with these students and demanded the cancelation of NEET 2021. Stalin said, “Conducting national level entrance exams for any professional course would be detrimental to the health and well-being of students.”

A section of students has been asking to postpone the entrance exam till October 2021. Candidates are not happy as the application forms are yet not released by the testing agency. One of the angry candidates tweeted, “NEET 2021: 50 days left for NEET UG still no updates! No registration! No vaccination for students! Is this a joke?”
Amid the stressful environment due to Covid-19, medical aspirants have flooded Twitter with tweets demanding NEET 2021 exam postponement, NEET 2021 date, NEET 2021 registration, NEET 2021 application forms and other related information.

Various hashtags like - #postponeNEETUGtillOctober, #NEET, #postponeneet2021 and many others are used by students to build an online campaign. Another candidate said, “NEET has the largest amount of candidates appearing for it and there are no multiple attempts. Plus private medical college fees is ten times that of any engineering or law college. We should get a fair shot and a postponement at least.”
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has previously announced that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam (NEET) 2021 would be held on 1 August 2021. Later, NTA announced that the application forms would be out on its official website – nta.neet.nic. However, till now neither the forms are out nor any announcement has been made.
