Notably, Salahuddin Jalal is one of the controversial characters shown in the movie. Salahuddin Jalal has been shown that he was involved in the Jammu & Kashmir Bank scam. Not only this, Yami Gautam's character of Zooni accuses Salahuddin Jalal of murdering his father and making the case look like a suicide.
However, some aspects showcase Salahuddin Jalal's resemblance to Jammu & Kashmir's real politician. Article 370 showcases Salahuddin Jalal's party extending support to Mufti after the BJP pulled out his support. Notably, BJP and Mehbooba Mufti's PDP were in a coalition government in the valley.
