- True Scoop

Netflix viewers have been left 'traumatised' by the science fiction horror film Splice, which was originally released in 2010 but recently debuted on the streaming service. The movie follows a young scientific couple who introduce human DNA into their work of slicing animal genes and develop a female creature. The hybrid, named Dren, mentally develops like a human child and continues to age much faster than humans. Viewers have taken to Twitter to express their horror and describe the movie as the "most f***ed up" film they have ever watched.

In addition to Splice, the anthology show Haunted has also left some viewers too scared to sleep. The series explores the horror stories of people who have experienced strange paranormal activity, including a house of horrors and a demon cat that haunts a home with strange howls and hisses. While some viewers have found the show amusing and question its authenticity, others have warned that those who watch it will be "terrified for the rest of your life."
