On Wednesday, the new Redmi 10A was launched in India by the Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi. It was launched with a perspective of new affordable model. The new Redmi phone comes with a 13-megapixel camera along with MediaTek Helio 25 SoC. The phone gives a new upgrade in context of internal storage, as it provides 64GB of internal storage instead of 32GB. The competition of newly launch Redmi 10A is expected to be Reality C11, Tecno Powa Neo and Samsung Galaxy M02.
The newly launched Redmi 10A starts at the price of 8,499:
In India, the new Redmi 10A provides the customers with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage which costs around 8,499 where as the variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage costs 9,499. The customers can get their hands on the Redmi 10A from 26th April from Xiaomi’s website and from the official stores across the country. The color options which are available for the consumers are Sea Blue, Slate Grey and Charcoal Black. The manufacturing company even claims that the textured rear panel of the phone will be smudge-free.
Before this the company has launched the Redmi 9A in India which offers 2GB + 32GB costing around 6,799 and 3GB + 32GB at 7,499. This launch was made in September 2020.
The specifications of Redmi 10A:
The new Redmi 10A comes with a dual-Sim (Nano) which runs on Android-based MIUI 1.5 and supports a 6.56-inch HD + (720x1, 600 pixels) IPS display. This has 20:9 aspect ratio and also a waterdrop-style notch. The phone has 4GB RAM which runs on the octa-core Media Tek Helio G25 SoC.
The phone supports a 13-Megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a LED flash. It also packs a 5-megapixel camera sensor at the front, paired with f/2.2 lens which is for selfies and video chats.

The new Redmi 10A comes with 64GB storage and the same can be expanded up to 512MB using a microSD card.
The phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery and a 10W charger. Listing the dimensions of the phone they are 164.9x77.07x9mm and the weight is 194g.
4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5 and GPS are some the connectivity options that comes with the phone. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack along with a micro-USB port. It also supports fingerprint sensor at the back.
