Senior lady constable of Punjab Police Amandeep Kaur was arrested on Thursday in a joint operation carried out by Vardhman Police and the Anti-Narcotics Task Force. Amandeep Kaur who is also known as 'Insta Queen' of Punjab Police was arrested by the police from Badal Road with heroin (Chitta) in her possession. New twist in Amadeep Kaur case

Investigations have revealed Amandeep Kaur's connection to a major drug racket involving a man named Balwinder alias Sonu. Balwinder's wife is a resident of Kheirpur, Sirsa (Haryana). Balwinder's wife has alleged that the constable Amandeep Kaur allegedly assaulted her and threw her out of the house along with her daughters.

She further claimed that her husband Balwinder and Amandeep sold the house and used the money to build a lavish villa worth Rs 2 crore in Bathinda's posh Virat Green area. The woman also alleged that her husband developed a full-fledged heroin distribution network from Sirsa, in which Amandeep played a critical role.

It has been alleged that Amandeep Kaur was responsible for bringing heroin, which Balwinder then repackaged and sold in Sirsa. Balwinder allegedly moved drugs using a Bullet motorcycle, which bore a Punjab Police sticker. It helped him to evade checking.
