Amid speculations of a possible Congress-AAP alliance, Congress has reportedly conveyed a clear 'no' to the Delhi Congress Chief Sheila Dikshit having taken the final decision. The decision was conveyed through party leaders PC Chacko and KC Venugopal on Former Delhi CM's 81st birthday.
Sheila Dikshit came out to talk to reporters today morning and said, "You will get to know about it in a matter of few hours, by this evening or by tomorrow. There will be an official announcement".
AAP had denied of any alliance after pursuing Congress for a long time. From Congress too, Sheila Dikshit had written a letter to Congress high-command insisting not to have an alliance with Aam Aadmi Party.

The official announcement of a clear 'no' for an alliance with Congress might take place today. The decision was taken in a meeting at Sheila Dikshit's residence which went on till late night. Dikshit, however, maintained two facts. One, that she will stand by what Congress party decides and the other being opposite to the decision of an alliance with Aam Aadmi Party.
The meeting also finalized seven names of candidates who will be contesting from Delhi Lok Sabha seats.
The elections in Delhi will be conducted on May 12 and the results of the elections will be declared on May 23.
