The high-level meeting held between Home Minister Amit Shah and farmers at Shah's residence in Delhi late this evening, was unfruitful as both the government and farmers stood firm to their demands.
In the meeting, the minister has said that a proposal will be given to the farmer leaders tomorrow. Farmer leaders will hold a meeting over govt's proposal, Hannan Mollah, General Secy, All India Kisan Sabha, said.
He further said that the Government is not ready to take back the farm laws. "Tomorrow we will hold a meeting at Singhu border (Delhi-Haryana border) at 12 pm to decide our further course of action", he added.
