Bollywood ace actress Vidya Balan whose movie 'Shakuntala Devi' is all set to release has irked a controversy in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. Vidya in an interview with the digital media portal 'Cinema Express' reacted to the ongoing debate of nepotism and Sushant Singh Rajput's death.
Going by the interview of Vidya Balan, she stated that people should now let Sushant rest in peace. She also added that one needs to keep quiet and show some respect to the late actor.
When asked about the anger among people against Bollywood especially after Sushant's death, Vidya said that this lockdown has been tough on everyone. Vidya said that with Sushant Singh Rajput passing away, people who felt wronged, ignored, there was a sense of identification with him. Now the point is rightly or wrongly we do not know because we do not know why he took the step he did. To speculate is... people can come up with all sorts of theories and that’s unfair to him more than anyone else, and his loved ones, who’re probably grieving."
Vidya termed the lockdown as the reason of people's angry behavior. Vidya went on to say that nepotism does exist in Bollywood it is a reality but that does not mean nepotism is the preserve of the film industry. Vidya claimed that all the anger of the people are coming from past rejections and failures.
However, what draws attention when Vidya said if someone decides to take his own life others shouldn't be blamed.
Vidya's statement show that the actress thinks Sushant died by suicide, on the other Sushant's fans are pleading for CBI Inquiry and think that Sushant' death was murder.
