Hyderabad: A Court in Khammam has served a non-bailable warrant against Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Renuka Chowdhury in an alleged cheating case.
The court issued the warrant against Ms. Chowdhury as she had not accepted its notices and failed to be present in the court during hearings on a petition filed by Kavitha, wife of a local leader.

The woman alleged that the Congress leader had promised to get an MLA ticket to her husband in the Assembly election held last year but had failed to do so.
