American stand-up comedian Jim Gaffigan on Monday broke the internet after he took a brutal dig at Hollywood stars during the 81st Golden Globe Awards. On Monday (IST), the Golden Globe Awards 2024 went underway at Beverly Hills with prominent Hollywood movie actors, actresses, technicians and more coming under the safe roof to celebrate their excellence in movies or TV shows in 2023. The Golden Globe Awards 2024 officially kicked off the road to the Oscars which is slated to place in March 2024. Notably, the Golden Globe Award 2024 took place at a time when the Hollywood fraternity had been dented by the infamous Jefferey Epstein files.

Rising on the occasion, comedian Jim Gaffigan cracked a pedophile joke at the Golden Globe Awards and took a dig at Hollywood stars whose names have surfaced in the Jefferey Epstein files. "I can't even believe I'm in the entertainment industry. It's so unlikely…I'm from a small town in Indiana and I'm not a pedophile," said Jim Gaffigan.

Jim went on to rhetorically ask if "pedophile" was a new category there but noted he was happy to be presenting an award for comics with big specials ... arguing it was overdue.
