Days later when the case of actress Veena Kapoor’s brutal murder by her own son surfaced and sent horrific shivers down the spine allegedly related to the property dispute, the actress appeared in the public slamming allegation associated with her death.
Fans were shocked to read about the horrific details of the killing and the accused also accepted his crime before the Mumbai cops. Although to the twist the actress filed a complaint with the police related to all the ruckus prevailing.
Veena Kapoor went on to receive massive phone calls and messages from fans and friends assuming that she was dead and people started cursing his son Abhishek Chaddha.

Reportedly, the TV actress filed a report at Dindoshi Police Station on Wednesday soon after the news broke out people slammed her son to be a murderer and dropped messages on social media attacking him. She added that many condolence messages too have poured in.
While talking to a media house the actress said, "I have been receiving many calls and messages about this. I am not able to concentrate on work due to this. I am alive, my son has not killed me. Due to these messages, I have stopped receiving work."
While Chadda, Veena Kapoor’s son said, "I also received many calls saying I killed my mother. I won't even dream of such a thing. I love my mother too much. I felt sick after reading this news and the messages on social media. I appeal to people to not spread rumours. My mother is alive, I have not killed her."
