The Jalandhar Municipal Corporation has taken a firm stand to curb illegal construction in the city. An case has been registered against the owner of Hotel Indra Prasth, Jalandhar on Saturday.
According to reports, the hotel was involved in illegal construction in adjacent plot. Due to this, Municipal Corporation has issued a notice against them.
According to ATP, the Hotel was planning to expand its parking but, later on they started doing illegal construction in the plot. Municipal Corporation received a complaint regarding it. Thus, they issued orders to demolish it.
Earlier, Hotel Indra Prasth purchased residential house which they later on merged into the hotel. The house was commercialized later on. Again, doing illegal construction shows that hotel owner has no fear of government.
