NTA CUET-UG 2022 Day 1 begins: Know Exam Patterns, Guidelines details & other key points

The CUET, Common University Entrance Test for Under-Graduate 2022, being conducted by the National Testing Agency has begun today. Chairman of UGC Prof. M. Jagadeesh Kumar has informed the media that there are students who have appealed for changing their centers upon which we are deliberating, the decision will be announced once we come up with a possible solution.


The Examination Pattern:

  • Common University Entrance Test for Under Graduate 2022 (CUET UG) is scheduled to take place in a computer-based format, CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA is organizing the exam in two slots, the first to be conducted for the duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes, whereas the second one is scheduled to be conducted for 3 hours and 45 minutes.
  • All the questions will be MCQ. For every correct answer, 5 marks will be given and a deduction of 1 mark for every answer marked incorrect.
Know the essential guidelines for the examination:

  • The candidates appearing in CUET UG, 2022 must thoroughly check the allotted session and center in their respective admit cards.
  • Candidates will have to report at least one and a half hours prior to the examination timing given, at the center.
  • Candidates will have to seat-based the on invigilator’s guidelines.
  • After completing the designated time for the examination, the candidates only then have to leave the exam hall.
  • Candidates will have to prove their identity to the demands of the invigilator
  • Not complying with the guidelines mentioned on the admit card or not presenting the documents asked, the candidature can also be terminated.
