The Nun II OTT release platform is BookMyShow and the horror movie will be available on a rental basis, fans can even buy the movie on the BookMyShow App. The Nun 2, the 9th installment of the Conjuring Universe, is set in the backdrop of 1956, 4 years after a demon named Valak was defeated by Sister Irene and Father Burke. The Nun 2 was promoted worldwide by pointing out the fact that it will connect and explain how the demon Valak came in contact with the Warrens which ultimately led to the creation of the Conjuring 2.
The Nun 2 storyline
As mentioned above, The Nun 2 is set in the backdrop of 1956, 4 years after a demon named Valak was defeated by Sister Irene and Father Burke. As shown in The Nun, the demon Valak escaped by going into Maurice Frenchie's body in a serpent form, and it returned to the sequel to get the eyes of St Lucy.
The Nun II takes place four years after its predecessor as Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) again comes face-to-face with the demonic nun known as Valak at a boarding school in France. Frenchie is not aware of the fact that he has been possessed by Valak and therefore he takes a job in the Boarding School of France where the eyes of St.Lucy are hidden.
Notably, Valak is after the eyes of Saint Lucy, the patron saint of the blind, in order to restore the power that was taken from the demon when it was an angel rejected by God. As it turns out, those eyes are buried in the chapel at the boarding school where Maurice now works as a handyman. While True Scoop News has decided to not give up more spoilers since the movie is still running in theaters, the horror movie will indeed explain how and why the demon got connected with the Warrens.
