Odisha Police Recruitment Board has issued notification for the recruitment of the posts of Sub Inspector for various police stations across the state. According to the official notification, the tentative date for the beginning of the online application is June 22, 2021, while the last date is July 13, 2021.

Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the Odisha Police Recruitment 2021 via online mode on its official website- odishapolice.gov.in.

Odisha Police Recruitment Board invites online applications for recruitment to 477 posts of Sub Inspectors. Also, the most significant part of this fresh recruitment drive is that transgenders are eligible to apply. Out of these 477 SI posts, 78 would be reserved for SC, 107 for ST, 53 for SEBC and 239 for UR.

Age

The candidate’s age should be minimum of 21 years and should not be above 25 years as of 1st January 2021. Age relaxation is available for SC/ST/SEBC/ Women and ex-servicemen candidates.

Application Fee

The candidates have to pay Rs 285 application fee and SC/ST candidates are not required to pay any fee.

Selection Process

The selection will be done on the basis of marks obtained from the Computer Based Recruitment Examination and Physical Efficiency Test.
