On Friday, the company revealed the sale of Ola Electric e-scooters, as per the company’s statement it has made over Rs 1,100 crore in a sale within a period of just two days. On day 1, the company sold the e-scooters worth Rs 600 crore.
Now, the purchase window would reopen on November 1, 2021, ahead of Diwali but the reservation process would continue as usual on olaelectric.com. The booking amount and booking process would also remain the same.

The statics were shared by Ola’s co-chairman and group’s executive officer Bhavish Aggrawal, on September 17, he tweeted, “Day 2 of EV era was even better than Day 1! Crossed ₹1100Cr in sales in 2 days! The purchase window will reopen on Nov 1 so reserve now if you haven't already. Thank you, India for the love & trust. You are the revolution!”
He also said, “While day 1 of purchase was quite unprecedented for us and the auto industry, day 2 simply continued from where day 1 left off! The excitement and enthusiasm customers showed for our products remained high throughout.

In total over 2 days, we have done over INR 1100 crores in sales! This is unprecedented not just in the automotive industry but it is one of the highest sales in a day (by value) for a single product in Indian e-commerce history! We truly are living in a digital India,” he added.
The Ola electric scooters went live for sale from Wednesday. Those who had pre-booked the scooters completed the booking by paying the remaining amount and finalised the valiant and colour of their EV. The Ola Electric scooter S1 and S1 Pro were launched last month, with two variants S1 at Rs 99,999 and S1 Pro at Rs 1,29,999.
