India is in shock after the death of Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor. His family, in a statement released to the media, confirmed the news. Kapoor passed away at 8.45 am today after a two-year battle with leukemia, the statement read. The statement said, "Our dear Rishi Kapoor passed away peacefully at 8.45 am IST in hospital today after a two-year battle with leukemia. The doctors and medical staff said he kept them entertained to the last.
An old video of Rishi Kapoor in the hospital with medical personnel singing a song also started going viral on the internet. Well, the man is seen singing Tere Dard Se Dil Abaad Raha from the Rishi Kapoor starrer Deewana and this surely made the veteran actor all emotional. In the video, you can also see the actor encouraging the man to keep following his passion.
In the video, Rishi Kapoor said, “Mera aashirwaad tumpe hai. Bahut taraki karo, safalta prapt karo, mehnat karo. Dekho shohrat, naam, yeh sab aata hai mehnat ke baad.
