Chinese technology giant OnePlus has unveiled its latest premium smartphone, the OnePlus 12 5G, in its home country. The device boasts top-end features and specifications, including Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Gen 3 chipset, a 2K AMOLED LTPO screen, a substantial 5,400mAh battery supporting 100W charging, and more.
Price, Color Options, and Availability
The OnePlus 12 is available for pre-order in China, with the base variant featuring 12GB RAM and 256GB storage priced at 4,299 Yuan (approximately Rs 50,700). The smartphone comes in three colour options- white, green, and black. While a global release is slated for early 2024, there is no information yet on the pricing for the Indian model.

The OnePlus 12 features a 6.82-inch 2K Super Fluid AMOLED display with LTPO, boasting an impressive peak brightness of 4500nits. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, and HDR Vivid and offers a 120Hz refresh rate. The display has received an A+ certification from DisplayMate, indicating excellent color accuracy and brightness.
Powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, the OnePlus 12 offers faster Kryo CPU and GPU speeds with improved power efficiency. It is equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 ROM supported by RAM-Vitalization and ROM-Vitalization.
The smartphone runs on ColorOS 14, based on Android 14, out of the box and packs a large 5,400mAh battery that supports 100W charging and 50W wireless charging. The OnePlus 12 is claimed to have the largest cooling system of any OnePlus device, beneficial for gaming and intensive tasks.
Camera
The OnePlus 12 features a triple camera setup on the rear, including a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It has a 32MP front-facing shooter and the latest self-developed HDR algorithm for selfies and video calls.
