While Pushpa 2 has been doing wonders at the box office ever since it hit the theaters on December 5, OTT lovers are also not behind as a plethora of web series and movies are also available on streaming platforms. December is the year's last month and is also regarded as the month of holiday. Hence, streaming giants like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar, Zee5, etc often come up with big releases this month whether it is a web series or a movie. With the completion of the first week of December, True Scoop brings you a list of movies and series releasing next week.  Bandish Bandits Season 2

  1. Bandish Bandits Season 2 is arguably the most awaited series that will be released on Amazon Prime Video on December 13, 2024. Bandish Bandits Season 1 became a cult classic 'musical series' that portrayed the 'Gharana' musical culture of India or moreover Rajasthan. It features Sheeba Chadha, Atul Kulkarni, Rajesh Tailang, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Saurabh Nayyar, Meghna Malik, Rituraj Singh, Paresh Pahuja and more in the leading roles. 
  2. One Hundred Years of Solitude: One Hundred Years of Solitude: Part 1 is the story about the adversities of impossible loves, confrontations with a past that follows their footsteps and a curse that condemns them.  It is based on the masterpiece of Gabriel García Márquez's One Hundred Years of Solitude, the series. It will be released on Netflix on December 11.
  3. Mismatched Season 3: Starring Rohit Saraf, Prajakta Koli, Ahsaas Channa, Taaruk Raina, and more in the leading roles, Mismatched Season 3 will be available for streaming on December 13 on Netflix. Mismatched Season 1 revolved around Dimple and Rishi’s love story. It's season 2 began from where fans left off the first season alongside all the main cast back on the board. Dimple (Prajakta Koli) a brilliant tech coder and Rishi (Rohit Saraf) a hopelessly romantic young man were at the center of the storyline again. 
  4. 1992: Starring Fernando Valdivielso, Marian Álvarez, Carlos Santos, and more in the lead roles, 1992 is a crime thriller that will be released on Netflix on December 13, 2024. The official synopsis reads, "After her husband dies in an explosion, a grieving widow and a haunted ex-cop investigate a series of murders with sinister ties to the Seville Expo '92."
  5. Carry-On: With Christmas on the cards, Carry-On can be a perfect watch for OTT lovers this holiday season. Featuring Taron Egerton, Sofia Carson and Jason Bateman, Carry-On will be released on Netflix on December 13.The official synopsis reads, "A young TSA agent fights to outsmart a mysterious traveler who blackmails him into letting a dangerous package slip onto a Christmas Eve flight"
  6. La Palma: The Norwegian series will stream on Netflix on December 12. La Palma is a thriller that features Anders Baasmo, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Thea Sofie Loch Næss, Thorbjørn Har and more in the leading roles. The official synopsis of the series reads, "A Norwegian family vacationing on La Palma faces disaster when a young researcher discovers alarming signs of an imminent volcanic eruption."
  7. No Good Deed: The dark comedy series No Good Deed will feature Friends star Lisa Kudrow and Everybody loves' fame actor Raymond’s Ray Romano. The right-episodes series will see the couple looking to sell their Los Angeles home. Three families have their sight set firmly on owning the house, which has a ‘dark vibe’ to it. Joining Kudrow and Romano are Linda Cardinelli, Luke Wilson, Teyonah Paris, Abbi Jacobson, Poppy Liu, Denis Leary and O-T Fabgenie, among others. It will be released on Netflix on December 12, 2024.
