1) The Night Agent Season 2
Created by Shawn Ryan, The Night Agent Season 2 will be released on Netflix on January 23, 2025. It is an American action-thriller television series based on the novel of the same name by Matthew Quirk. It stars Gabriel Basso, Luciane Buchanan, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Sarah Desjardins, Eve Harlow, Phoenix Raei, Enrique Murciano, D. B. Woodside, Hong Chau and more in the leading roles.
2) Hisaab Barabar
Hisaab Barabar is seen as the biggest release of the week in terms of Hindi movies on an OTT platform. Directed by Ashwani Dhir, Hisaab Barabar will be released on 24th January 2025 on ZEE5. Hisaab Barabar features R. Madhavan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sukumar Tudu, Sachin Viddrrohi, Kriti Kulhari, Faisal Rashid, Rashami Desai, and Asad Alvi.
Hisaab Barabar revolves around Radhe Mohan Sharma, a hardworking railway ticket checker, played by R. Madhavan, whose life takes an unexpected turn when he notices a small mistake in his bank account. This small mistake leads him to uncover a huge financial fraud run by Mickey Mehta, a powerful banker played by Neil Nitin Mukesh. Radhe digs deeper and discovers corruption at every level while also dealing with problems in his personal life.
3) The Sand Castle
Slated to be released on Netflix on January 24, The Sand Castle is an Army-drama. The Sand Castle's official synopsis reads, "Set in Iraq in 2003, Sand Castle follows a group of American soldiers in the early days of the second Gulf War. Bearing witness to the heat and the horror is the inexperienced Private Matt Ocre (Nicholas Hoult), who, together with several fellow soldiers, is ordered to the outskirts of Baqubah to repair a water pumping station damaged by U.S. bombs.
But, as Ocre discovers, in an atmosphere where resentment and anger fester, trying to win the hearts and minds of the locals is a task fraught with danger. It’s here, in the streets, squares and schools that he discovers the true cost of war. 4) Sky Force
Arguably the biggest release in India on the occasion of Republic Day 2025, Sky Force will be released in theaters on January 24, 2025. Sky Force is inspired by true events from 1965 when India carried out its first-ever airstrike on Pakistan. Talking about Skyforce's characters guide, it features Akshay Kumar as Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja based on Group Captain of Indian Air Force Group Captain O.P Taneja, Veer Pahariya as T. Vijaya based on Mahavir Chakra awardee Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya.
5) Shafted
Slated to be released on Netflix on January 24, 2025; Shafted is the French adaptation of the Spanish comedy series Alpha Males. Shafted's official synopsis reads, "Four middle-aged male friends fumble their way through love, life and career crises in modern-day Paris — when did being a man become so hard?"
