A fresh row has been initiated after a train Kashi Mahakal Express reserved a seat for a Lord Shiva. All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi questions on this step taken by the government. On his official Twitter handle, Owaisi tweeted the picture of the preamble of India indicating the installation of Mini temple in train as discriminatory.
Owaisi's tweet after a day when the Kashi Mahakal Express was flagged off by PM Modi via video conferencing -- with a seat turned into a mini-temple devoted to Lord Shiva the railway authorities. As per Northern Railway spokesperson Deepak Kumar, "Seat number 64 in coach B5 was reserved and left vacant for the deity."
Kumar also informed that light devotional music, two dedicated private guards in every coach and only vegetarian meals will be some of the new features of the fully 3-AC service that will run thrice a week between Varanasi and Indore.

The Kashi Mahakal Express connects Omkareshwar (near Indore), Mahakaleshwar (Ujjain) and Kashi Vishwanath (Varanasi) Jyotirlingas.
