Much awaited third season of Amazon Prime’s web series Panchayat is just around the corner. Prime video however has kept the fans on their toes through a playful guessing game. The streaming service shared a cryptic message, accompanied by a teaser video designed to keep fans intrigued. As per the teaser, the latest season will be released sometime in May 2024.
Prime video teased the release date on their Instagram page. Clicking this link in their bio: https://panchayat3date.com/ will toss an inquiry: "Laukiyon ke peeche kya hai? (What’s behind the laukis?)” After you get to the next page, you'll be asked to share this twisted game with your friends and return in 15 minutes to remove another lauki. At the time of writing, the page claims that only 20% of the laukis are left to be removed to revealt the full release date.
Fans, however had mixed reactions. Some got upset after Prime Video teased them with a playful game involving bottle gourds. One user wrote, "Prime ko unfollow karne ka time aa gaya hai," while another one wrote, "Dekh Raha hai binod kaise logo ko tarpaya jaata hai." A frustrated fan wrote, "Bhai ab to bata do nhi to main block maar raha hun." One person also wrote, "Emotions ke saath khel rha hai prime."
In a video, ‘Panchayat’ fame Jitendra Kumar gave a fun game to the fans where they had to keep removing ‘Lauki’ (bottle gourd) to disclose the release date of the series. He captioned the video, "Sahi suna aapne! Bas yeh ek step karne se jaan jaoge aap season 3 ki date, toh jaldi click the link in bio aur hatao saare laukiyon ko!"
