Pankaj Oswal's daughter's arrest update

Recently, Vasundhara Oswal's sister posted on her Instagram handle with a series of pics and an audio clip. She wrote, "My sister, Vasundhara Oswal, has been unjustly imprisoned in Uganda for over two and a half weeks, in a prison meant for those convicted of heinous crimes like murder. Yet, she remains behind bars without any evidence against her, and without any valid reason to hold her.

The photos you see here represent the project she spent five long years building from the ground up. In the first few photos you can see the barren land where she once worked, starting with nothing but a tent. Her hard work and relentless dedication brought this project to life, a project that now supports over 400 local people and their families. This isn’t just an attack on her freedom—it’s an attack on the life and dedication she’s poured into creating something meaningful for others. If you keep swiping through the post, you will hear an audio of how she was stripped of her freedom and denied a single phone call, even though she was being illegally held, this audio was taken when she was 90 hours in and had an unconditional release order.

The worst part - the man she has been accused of kidnapping and murdering, the one on whom this entire case is falsely based, was already found in Tanzania, in state custody, and awaits his own investigations there. When Tanzanian authorities apprehended him, he was found with his passport, clearly indicating that he was not kidnapped. And definitely isn’t murdered. He has even provided a notarized affidavit now, stating that he entered Tanzania voluntarily and was never mistreated by my family or sister, he was never kidnapped or murdered, and he was apprehended by Tanzanian police. Yet despite this, the Ugandan state refuses to acknowledge the truth."
