Education Minister Mr Pargat Singh today asked the officers to complete the ongoing developmental projects within the stipulated time period.
The Minister chaired a review meeting here at his residence with officers of Municipal Corporation, Public Works, Punjab State Power Corporation and others. He asked them to expedite the
completion of ongoing development projects.
Mr Pargat Singh, while underscoring the need for speedy completion of these projects within the stipulated time period, said that these development projects must be executed with proper
coordination amongst all the departments.

The Minister unequivocally told the officers/ officials that they are duty bound to ensure that ongoing development works in the district were completed in a time-bound and result oriented
manner. He said that this is need of hour so that the people of the district are benefited from it. Batting for optimum utilization of government funds, Mr Pargat Singh said that it will ensure that money was spent in the
right direction.
The Minister said that he will regularly monitor the execution of development projects. He cautioned the officers that any sort of laxity in execution of these projects will not be tolerated at any cost. Mr Pargat Singh said that the Punjab government is committed for ensuring judicious use of every single penny of tax payer’s money.
