The months-long political crisis has finally come to an end as party leadership introduced a change in guard in Punjab. Credit for this key reshuffle in Punjab Congress goes to minister
Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa and PPCC general secretary in-charge Pargat Singh.
These two Congress leaders stood by their beliefs and fought ethically since the infighting in the Punjab unit begin. Following their principles, Pargat Singh and Tripat Bajwa openly spoke
about people’s welfare and the betterment of state Congress.
Even though Mr Pargat Singh and Mr Bajwa were not the nominees for any key role in the new administration, they aggressively spoke about people’s issues and unfulfilled poll promises.
Former Captain of the Indian hockey team, Olympian Pargat Singh was the first to openly criticize Capt Amarinder Singh’s government and asked high command for his removal. Meanwhile,
Mr Bajwa presenting the Majha brigade provided significant support to Mr Pargat in this fight by persuading MLAs to publically speak for their interests and distrust over Capt’s leadership.

The two outspoken leaders pushed the party high command to look into the matters of Punjab and take a major decision over the disbalance in state Congress. It was entirely due to their efforts
that Congress leadership was forced to interfere, leading to the removal of former CM Capt Amarinder Singh.
Pargat Singh is known for his clean political image and being former Captain of the Indian hockey team he possesses an international aura. Meanwhile, Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa has a long,
non-controversial political background.
Congress leaders- Pargat Singh and Tripat Raninder Singh Bajwa- have always worked for the welfare of their people and for the party’s progress.
