A fire broke out at Bhagta Bhaika's bus stand in Punjab's Bathinda district. Due to which 4 buses were completely destroyed by burning. In this, the conductor sleeping inside a bus was burnt alive. Fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and doused the fire.
The incident happened late Thursday night. The cause of the fire could not be ascertained. Police has reached the spot. An investigation is being done in this regard.

According to the people of the area, first a bus caught fire. After that 3 more buses caught fire. In these, the conductor Gurdev Singh was sleeping inside the New Malwa bus. He died by burning alive. The buses which burnt due to fire include 2 buses of New Malwa Transport Bhuccho Mandi. Apart from this, two buses of GBS and Jalal Bus Service also got burnt. On getting information about the incident, the fire brigade reached there and doused the fire.
