(Report by AshishPuri) Indian hockey team's goalkeeper Krishna Bahadur Pathak from rail coach factory on his return home today honored by district administration here at the civil complex. Is it worth mentioning that the Indian hockey team defeated Japan in the final match during the recently concluded Asian Games in Hangzhou, China Pathak was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Commissioner Captain Karnail Singh while reaching at Kapurthala .
Meanwhile, RCF is other players participating in the Asian Games. Basketball (3X3) Yashneet Kaur of Kapurthala was also given a warm welcome. Deputy Commissioner Captain Karnail Singh honored both the sportsmen and said that the residents of the district are very proud of them who have raised Kapurthala on the sports map of the world. He said that Krishna Bahadur Pathak has played an important role in recording victories by showing a very good game. He said that the district administration especially congratulates the family members and coaches of both the players, whose support and leadership these players have made the name of the district bright.
Talking to the goalkeeper of the Indian team, Krishna Bahadur Pathak, wished that they would continue to perform the same exceptional game in the future and that the Indian hockey team would shine the name of the country by winning the gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Krishna Bahadur Pathak took the best wishes of the district administration and thanked the Deputy Commissioner and also presented him with a hockey t-shirt with the signatures of all the players of the Indian hockey team.
