Pathankot SSP’s stern warning to drug peddlers; ‘Either leave the place or stop doing business’

In the latest development, a search operation was carried out by a team of highly trained and experienced personnel from various units of the Pathankot Police, including all SHOs, DSPs, SPs and a massive force. During this operation, a total of eight drug peddlers were arrested by the police teams with illicit liquor and narcotics.

SSP Pathankot HPS Khakh while sharing the information of the operation, gave a warning to all the drug smugglers that either they should leave the place or put a stop to the business. He further added that search operations like these will be carried out regularly and no drug smuggler will be spared.

Speaking about the operations, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot, Harkamal Preet Singh Khakh said, "The Cordon and Search Operations have been conducted to curb the criminal activities in the district and to create a sense of safety and security among the people. The success of these operations is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our police force, and we will continue to take all necessary measures to keep our citizens safe."

The Pathankot Police took an integrated approach to the CASO operation and conducted it with the utmost professionalism and efficiency. They covered all the major areas of the district, ensuring that no stone was left unturned in their efforts to crack down on drug trafficking and anti-social elements.

During the operation, 13 hot spot areas were cordoned off and thoroughly searched by different police teams. A total of 165 suspicious individuals were checked for involvement in drug-related activities, leading to the registration of 23 FIRs.
