Heart-Wrenching news has come to the fore from the Nabha area of Patiala where a 45-year-old DSP of the Special Operation Group was found dead at his house on Wednesday night. The deceased has been identified as DSP Gagandeep Bhullar and the reason subjected to his death is a bullet injury.
Reportedly, it is still unknown whether the DSP attempted suicide or was shot dead. The incident took place on Wednesday when the neighbors heard a sound of firing from Gagandeep Bhullar’s house and informed police about the same. Post the death there has been a lot of movement going on outside his house as the probe is underway. The startling fact that has put police also in doubt is that the bullet with which he got shot was from his licensed revolver and not the service pistol.
Soon after the information was received DSP was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead. The police have taken possession of DSP’s body and at present it is in the Civil Hospital Mortuary. It is being said that the post-mortem of his body will be conducted today which will provide a lot of information that can help to carry out the investigation further.
SSP, Deepak Parik post receiving the information himself reached the spot and ordered the initiation of the investigation.
