In an absolutely embarrassing and bizarre incident, an adult video was aired on Television sets installed at Patna Junction Railway Station. As per reports, an adult video was aired on all 10 platforms for approx 3 minutes on Sunday at Patna Junction. After people started to feel uncomfortable and embarrassed at the Patna Junction, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) officials took note of the incident and immediately stopped the telecast after some passengers reported the matter to the Patna Railway Station officials. The TV monitor at Patna Junction has been installed by a private company. The company has been given the contract to telecast videos and ad films on the railway stations under the Danapur Division.
The Patna Junction adult video incident have sparked a massive row on social media. In fact, Patna Junction videos are being shared on Twitter with people tagging Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. Confirming the incident, Prabhat Kumar, the official spokesperson of the DRM office in Danapur, said, "We have initiated an inquiry into the incident and started the process of cancellation of the contract. We have registered an FIR against the company officials... It is an intolerable incident. We will blacklist this company."
Patna Junction is one of the busiest railway stations of India and the adult video indeed sent passengers waiting for their train in an uncomfort zone.
