Pawan Singh one of the biggest stars of the Bhojpuri film industry has landed in yet another heated legal controversy associated with his love life. Months after Pawan Singh filed for a divorce from his second wife Jyoti Singh, the latter has registered a series of serious allegations against the singer with Ballia police.
The reports over the allegations against Pawan Singh surfaced after Ballia city police station in-charge Inspector Praveen Kumar Singh, under whom the complaints got registered informed the media of the allegation against the singer.
Jyoti Singh accused him of causing mental harassment, forcing her to go for an abortion, and instigating her to commit suicide. Pawan Singh’s wife Jyoti, a resident of the city-based Middhi locality alleged in her complaint that a few days after their marriage her in-laws started taunting her for her looks along with Pawan Singh himself.
Jyoti Singh in her complaint also informed that her mother-in-law took away about Rs 50 Lakh which she received from her family and started abusing her every day.
Going ahead by her claims, Pawan’s family instigated her to commit suicide, moreover, she has alleged that during her pregnancy he was given a medicine that led to her miscarriage.
Reportedly the complaint she had registered with the police also find a demand for a Mercedes car by Pawan Singh over which she was mentally tortured. Talking with the PTI, Jyoti said that she possesses all the proof of her complaint and will make it public at the right time.
Earlier this year in April Jyoti Singh filed a maintenance suit against the actor in a family court in Ara. It was done at the same time when the singer filed for a divorce against his second with whom he has been married for four years now.

The ruckus in the public domain over Singh’s love life is not new, his first wife Priya alias Neelam died by suicide close to a year after her marriage with the singer. Neelam was found hanging at her Mumbai-based apartment.
Reportedly, Pawan Singh was not at the residence when the incident took place, however, the reason as to what led her to commit suicide didn’t come to the fore even after 7 years of her death.
Reports erupted and then signaled the alleged involvement of Singh that prompted her to commit suicide. When the response was taken from the deceased’s family over 21-years-old death they denied any form of depression attack associated with her.
Pawan Singh’s association with controversies is not new, the singer-actor was also in relation to Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh before he got married to Jyoti Singh. Soon after the power couple in the Bhojpuri film industry broke up the actress raised some serious allegations against Pawan Singh.
Akshara went on to say, "I was in a relationship with Pawan Singh, but unfortunately, my experience with him was something I can never forget,” while narrating her ordeals with the controversial star.
Akshara Singh also accused Singh of threatening her of destroying her career, besides wishing to be in relation with him even after getting married to his second wife. Akshara Singh while talking about her relationship with Singh said that the singer also beat her up after being drunk.
Pawan Singh’s controversy resurfacing yet again raises a matter of grave concern over the need of addressing the issues pertaining to the domestic well-being of Lakhs of marginalized women who have been facing these kinds of violence in some form or the other and lefts a huge concern over the status of judicial intervention over these matters.
