Bollywood actress Payal Ghosh on Wednesday shared her video and narrated her meeting with ace film-maker Anurag Kashyap. The actress has filed an FIR against Kashyap for allegedly raping her on the grounds of giving her work in Bollywood. Payal Ghosh has filed an FIR against filmmaker Anurag Kashyap at Versova Police Station. Charges against Kashyap in the FIR include rape, wrongful restrain, wrongful confinement, and outraging the modesty of a woman.
Payal on Wednesday shared her video and said, "I want to narrate the scary incident which took place with me. I knew Mr. Kashyap through Facebook. First, he called me at his office, I went to his office, then he called me at his home, then I went there as well. The first day when I went to his home, he was normal and we had dinner together. The second day again he called me and when I went to his house he was drinking alcohol and smoking something foul. When I asked what is this he said it is 'Ganja' (Weed). Then he took me in his room just adjacent to his room where work-related stuff like computers were there."'
He took me to his room where there were many cassettes and there was a big couch. There he tried to force himself on me. When I was resisting it, he took many names of the actresses. He tried to convince me and ultimately a case under section 376 has been lodged against him so you can understand what he did.
Recently, Payal tendered an unconditional apology to Bollywood actress Richa Chadha after she took her name during her narration of what happened to her with Anurag Kashyap.
